End of Summer Fun, Meet the Teacher and First Days of School

We had to cram one more adventure into our last few days of summer....Lilly got an extra trip! Sidney surprised her with a trip to the Animal Safari Park. Sid, Lilly, Aubrey and Mary struck out one morning and had an amazing time.

So....Lilly had such a great time with Sidney, that she came BEGGING for me to take her and Walt again. I had taken the day off to do something with them the last day of summer and this is what we did!! It was seriously a crazy experience. Lilly, Eliza, Walt and Fisher....Foster was there, too but didn't want to have his picture taken!

Summer is over and Meet the Teacher is here.....5k here we come! We were so excited to see Miss Allison as Walt's teacher!! He is going to have such a wonderful year! 

How can this girl be in the 3rd grade?! If we have to be in the 3rd grade then at least we have Miss Rachel as our teacher. Lilly is sooooooo excited to have her. She LOVES her Sugar!

Well, we knew the day was coming! Our sweet Emily and Emma said good-bye and headed off on their new journey! Emily is headed to MSU and Emma to Mississippi College. We sure are going to miss these girls, but are so proud of them and can't wait to see what God has planned for them. 

What a wonderful summer 2017 was and I know that the school year will be great, too. How blessed we are with so many friends, family and such an amazing school!
