Back to School, Visiting with Friends and Lilly finds her Feet!

I went back to school this week! I was so sad, but I knew that Lilly was in good hands. I think that she had a good week. It's going to be hard getting into a new routine, but I am going to be okay...all prayers are appreciated!! :) I just love the above pic of my little one, so I thought I would share!

Funny Story, we were visiting at the Battle house and Shea Young was there. She was in the pool and when she came inside and saw Lilly sucking those two middle fingers, it was like she was taken immediately back in time. SHE sucked those same two fingers...so we took a pic of the two finger suckers! I never really knew anyone who sucked those fingers, but since Lilly does more and more people tell me about them or their children doing it. I was not pleased to hear that it is a VERY hard habit to break....everyone I talk to says that they did it until like 5 or 6...YIKES!! It will not be so cute then!! :)

Our summer had the perfect ending with a visit from Lilly's great friends, Macy and Lucy Willcutt and of course, their mama Shannon. We had so much fun doing nothing. My sweet friend cooked supper for me, made cookies for me to take to a pool party, entered my consignment clothes, helped me find the SKUNK that sprayed our house! ....BLESS HER...I sure wish that she lived closer. We had a great time and we can't wait for their return to the Atwood Home.

Look what Lilly found....her feet and she likes to eat them. It's so funny watching her play with those toes! She is really growing and changing each and every day. WOW...it's amazing. God is good....ALL THE TIME!
