Happy Birthday, Jesus!

We celebrated Jesus' birthday on Wednesday with our Sunday School Class. We wanted a time to get together to fellowship, so we just made it a birthday party for Jesus. Another way to show our children the true meaning of Christmas. We all had a great time. The children drew names, so they each had a present to open!

Avery, is the oldest child out of our group, so she read the younger children a story, "God Gave Us Christmas". It's a sweet story that tells how God gave us, Santa, why we get presents and then the best present of all is Jesus! I love how Hayden is so in tuned to the story....so sweet!
Our Sunday School teachers are Craig and Calvert Shideler. They have been such a God-sent to our class. We are so thankful for them. Lilly loves Mrs. Calvert, and wanted to sit with her during the story!

We sang Happy Birthday to Jesus, and the children LOVED it!

Lilly opening up her present! Her friend, Piper, drew her name.

Sweet Will Prince, getting into all this wrapping paper!

Aubrey Claire, Tracy and Olivia Kate showing off their presents!

Even our Elf knows the TRUE meaning of Christmas! Look at where we found him this morning!! Lilly LOVED it. I think this has been her favorite place yet! She has just been going by and talking to him....I have a great video of her and the conversation with the elf!

May you continue to feel His presence this Holiday Season!

All our love,

Sara Whit
