MSU, MHS Homecoming and the Fashion Show

HAIL STATE!!
We had a fun day in Starkville watching the DAWGS beat Northwestern. Lilly and Anna Lauren saw each other at the DAWG Walk and were so excited to see one another!
Dawg Walks at MSU wouldn't be the same without Emily, Harrison and Mari Alex.
Harrison has been holding my kids on his shoulders for 5 years!! We love him and love sharing these times with him.

Sweet friends at the greatest place on earth!!
Lilly and Boo relaxing at the tent!
MHS HOMECOMING SPIRIT WEEK 2015
Favorite Team Day
Walt's teacher, Miss Laura, sent me me this picture with his other bulldog friends, Claire and Nash.
Lilly and her friend, Aubree, went as Mardi Gras on Holiday day.
Walt went as Halloween and chose to be a Power Ranger.
 Western day....3 cute little cowboys!
My two cowboys LOVED western day!
Each Friday the football players are waiting to help the students get out of the cars. My two kiddos LOVE this football player, Grant Short. He is super cool and he will never know what an impact he has on my children. It is also an extra special treat for me, because I was his 6th grade teacher at Southaven Middle School. I can't tell you what joy it brings to teachers to see their former students become such wonderful people.
Our PEARL made the Homecoming Court as Sophomore Maid!! We love our Lee Taylor. It's so hard to believe that she is old enough to be on the Homecoming Court. All of my little church babies are growing up so fast.
Mari Alex is QUEEN!!! WooHoo!! We were so happy that our sweet Mari Alex was announced Homecoming Queen for 2015. When the announcement was made Lilly announces to everyone "Yay! Mari Alex is Queen just like my SISSY!"
The annual Baddour Memorial Center Fashion Show was this month and Lilly participated in it for her 3rd year in a row. She was a pro this year and she was such a big helper to these sweet friends of ours, Abbi and Phoebe Wallace. It was there first time, so Lilly LOVED showing them the ropes.
A highlight of doing the fashion show is that we get to see our LuLu. Lilly's fairy godmother as we all affectionately call her. She models for a shop, too and Lilly LOVES doing the same thing as LuLu and she also loves the pretty dresses that she models. LuLu's first dress was blue and her second one was pink....Lilly came home and told her daddy that she was Cinderella and Aurora today!! Oh how thankful I am for her kind soul.
Walking down the runway with confidence.....
with such a sweet smile!
Our second outfit was a MSU dress and she got to hold hands with our sweet friend, Dylan, who is an Ole Miss fan. When they paired them up, Lilly said, "I have to hold hands with a rebel?" She got a laugh from the crowd. My girl is something else.

Another fun and busy month in the memory books!
We welcome Fall with open arms!!
May God bless you and keep you!
Brian, Sara Whitten, Lilly and Walt
